Calling all artists of Guthrie County and beyond!

You are invited to showcase your artwork at the 5th Annual Art in the Village at the Guthrie County Historical Village in Panora, IA. This year’s event will be on Saturday, June 11th from 10 am – 4 pm. We had a great turn out last year, and look forward to an even bigger crowd this year! Dale Valley Vineyard & Winery will be returning to sample and sell wine and this year’s musical entertainment includes Chad Elliot, Jake Kemble, Code Blue, and more.

Artists will be assigned to 10’X10’ booth spaces throughout the historical village. Please note that level ground is not guaranteed. Tents are optional, but will determine artists’ booth locations, as there are trees to provide shade. Rain locations will be assigned to those without tents. No tables, chairs, or electrical hook-ups will be provided. Artists may begin setting up at 8 am on Saturday and may not take down until the event’s conclusion at 4 pm. Volunteers will be available throughout the day.

This is a juried event. To apply, complete and return the attached form and submit three images of your current work, to be used for promotional purposes. Two artists may share a 10’X10’ space and split the booth fee, but must apply separately.

The application deadline is April 15th. Please include a non-refundable check for the $15 jury fee (waived for current GCAC members) and a separate check for the $50 booth fee (not to be cashed until accepted to the show). Artists will be notified by May 1st and upon acceptance, a map of the historical village and a meal coupon will be included in an informational packet.
